Island Rec's Children Festival was great!
The Children’s Festival this past weekend was another reminder why this is a great place to raise kids – this free event has been going on since 1991, and brings together the children of the island to play & get painted & dress up & explore & dance with each other & with their parents & aunts & uncles & friends.
Sally Thomsen & Rebecca Clarke and the organizing committee did a super job of setting up dozens of events and booths all around the Fairgrounds with Island Rec – the first twenty years have been awesome!
