Dr. Bronwyn Bacon

It was years ago that Bronwyn Bacon (FHHS ’97) left the island to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor – and now she’s back & has set up her practice here. Here’s more from the press release announcing this:

Dr. Bacon Now Accepting Patients: On-Island Natural Family Medicine

Dr Bronwyn Bacon, ND, is excited to announce the opening of her naturopathic medical practice here in Friday Harbor.  She is a board certified licensed primary care physician, specializing in family medicine. Dr. Bacon combines modern, scientific, evidence-based methods with traditional, natural, therapeutic approaches to address your health care needs.  There are several ways she can be involved in your health care.

Primary Care: Dr. Bacon can act as your primary care physician, providing physical exams, annual exams, and acute care.

Specialist: If you are looking for support in addressing a specific condition or concern, she can act as a specialist, rather than a primary care physician.

Optimal Wellness: Whether you are interested in primary care or specialized services, she will work to address your health goals by creating a personalized plan and helping you develop a foundation for true, long-lasting wellness.

She is always happy to work with other practitioners and specialists (doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, licensed midwives, nurse practitioners, etc.) to provide comprehensive and complementary healthcare.

Please visit her website at www.DrBronwynBacon.com, where you can find more information about her practice, the services she offers, and the role NDs play in the field of medicine. You can also sign up for her free email newsletter, which is full of quick and easy tips to help you take control of your health on your own.

The clinic is located in the upstairs portion of Spa d’Bune at 669 Mullis Street.  Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm. Call (360) 378-3355.

Dr. Bacon completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA.

Dr. Bacon says, “I am thrilled to be back in Friday Harbor offering my services to the community.  My goal is to help people overcome their health challenges and lead richer, more enjoyable lives.  I am dedicated to offering the highest quality of medical care available, and I look forward to supporting your family’s health in whatever way I can.”
