The boxes originally intended to house Western Bluebirds were vacant, so the Violet-Green Swallows decided to move in. The babies are now old enough to be fed from out the window by their parents…

  1. What a fantastic shot! These are actually tree swallows rather than violet-green swallows, which you can tell by the dark green going over the eye on the face.
