Holy Week

It’s the week leading up to Easter and here are some events from local churches that you may be interested in:

Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church:

  • Maundy Thursday, April 17th – Remembering Jesus’ last meal with his disciples, we will gather at 5:00 PM to join in a soup supper. At 6:00 PM we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the foot of the cross. Our prayer of confession will include a time to write down those confidential things in our lives we want to place at the cross.
  • Good Friday – April 18th Noon: In this meditative service we will contemplate the Cross of Christ. We will continue place our burdens and sins at the cross. There will be a time of healing prayer following the service
  • Easter April 20th Three Events:
    Our traditional Sunrise service at the Carter Ranch at 6:30 AM.
    Deacon’s Easter breakfast following the Sunrise service at 7:30 AM until 9:15
    Easter Worship at 10 AM with choir and praise band. We will celebrate Communion

Saint David’s Episcopal Church:

  • Maundy Thursday, 5:30 pm
  • Good Friday, 5:30 pm
  • Easter Vigil Service, 8:30 pm on Saturday
  • Easter Day, one service only, 9:00 am

St. Francis Catholic Church:

  • Mass of the Lord’s Supper; Holy Thursday at 5:30 pm
  • Good Friday Veneration of the Cross and Communion Service at 5:30 pm
  • Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday at 7:30 pm
  • Easter Sunday Masses at 9:00 am in Friday Harbor and 9:30 am in Roche Harbor
