EDC to offer Class on Local Government

EDC-LogoThe San Juan County Economic Development Council (EDC) will offer a free class entitled Local Government 101, on Wednesday, November 12th at 11 a.m. in the Town of Friday Harbor Council chambers.

Led by Town Administrator and attorney Duncan Wilson, the class will cover the systems of government, revenues, operations, commissions and more. Participants can expect to come away with a heightened awareness and knowledge of local government operations as well as a greater understanding of how to get involved in local civic and community affairs.
