Colleen Howe-Gregory of Mitchell Bay Farms will be our featured speaker at the San Juan Island Garden Club on November 4, 2014. Colleen will be presenting a visual program that will highlight pollinator issues and she will also address the use of color in the landscape environment. She will comment on why we make poor choices and how to evaluate the color spectrum in planning the landscape (greens against greens that don’t work or that do work). Howe-Gregory has many years of experience relative to “make things meld” in the natural landscape.

Please join us at the Mullis Center at 1:00 pm for coffee, tea and dessert and this wonderful program. RSVP’s are encouraged no later than October 31, but are not required. Contact Dot Vandaveer (378-8306) or Marguerite Bennett (378-8524) if you plan to attend or if you have questions. All are welcome.

Please visit us at Marketplace on October 27 to learn more about the Club and our upcoming off-island excursions. Exciting things are happening in the San Juan Island Garden Club community!
