KWIT Players Return for Holiday Radio Play

The Witsend Productions’ group of island actors and comedians are back for the holidays with a beloved American classic with a KWIT twist!

It’s a Wonderful Life comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast at San Juan Community Theatre on Friday and Saturday, December 19-20 at 7:30 p.m.

With the help of the KWIT ensemble (directed by Therese Finn) who bring a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

The Witsend Players feature John E. Davis, Daniel Finn, Therese Finn, Julie Laidlaw, Scott Mapstead, Bo Turnage and Susan Williams; sound effects girls Patti Bair and Shannon Kelley; and musician Keith Busha.

Tickets for It’s A Wonderful Life are $12 each. The Box Office is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or tickets may be purchased online at www.sjctheatre.org.
