From Dori and Kate of the Stillpoint School…

We had a blast Friday in the sunshine cleaning the streets from our school to the Library and back as part of the Great Islands Clean-Up. Our students were thrilled to be helping the island sparkle for Spring, and they were all really excited by the number of islanders, drivers, and business owners who stopped to greet us and say thank you.

And our students were very impressed to notice that there was less litter this year than last, so islanders are working together to keep our island cleaner! That was awesome to see. Our students are also excited to participate with their families in the official clean-up effort on Saturday. It’s one of our favorite school traditions.
