Jennifer Beck Furber was recently interviewed on AXS about her writers’ workshop coming up at the end of next week. Here’s an excerpt…
“At first glance, it’s taken for granted that the musicians in the group are there solely as entertainment for the writers in the workshop. Ah, but Write Doe Bay is a different sort of writer’s workshop where everyone participates. Holed up in the exquisitely inspiring getaway of the 38-acre Doe Bay Resort and Retreat May 29-31, all the participants engage in personal writing goals and boutique workshop classes.
Jennifer Beck Furber is the owner and producer of Write Doe Bay. She’s also an avid blogger based in the San Juan Islands, a poet, an educator, and so much more. She sees with an eye toward lasting impressions. In yesterday’s exclusive AXS interview, Furber tried to capture what Write Doe Bay is like, as only a writer could.
