  • Girls Soccer – Our girls soccer team won the Bi-District Championship on Saturday, defeating Concordia Christian, 3-2. The girls will now move on to the first round of the State Playoffs as the District 1/2 #1seed for the second year in a row. They will host Adna on Saturday, November 10 at Anacortes High School. The game will begin at 4:00. A win would move the girls onto the semi-finals of the state tournament at Sumner on November 16. Congratulations girls! On To STATE. This was the second game in a row the boys played extra minutes to settle the outcome. On Thursday, our boys beat previously undefeated Orcas 1-0 in the first overtime period to get to the championship game. Our boys will now enter the first round of the State Playoffs as our District 1/2 #2 seed and will host Riverside Christian on Saturday 11/10 at Anacortes. The game will start at 2:00. Like the girls, a win would move them on to semi-final round in Sumner on 11/16. You can see their playoff bracket at http://www.nw1a2bathletics.com/index.php?pid=0.5.45.9.320
  • Football – Our Football team defeated La Conner 46-0 in their last league game last Thursday. The win put them in a tie for the league title and will force a tie-break game Tuesday, November 6 vs Concrete. The game is being played at La Conner starting at 5:30. The tie-break game will consist of two 10 minute halves. The winner will advance to the first round of the State Playoffs vs Adna on November 9. Seeding was determined this year by the WIAA, by a seeding committee that looked at teams compared to other teams in the playoffs at the 2B level.
