Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I was hoping you might put up a little blurb that my Grandma (we family call her Nammie) Lynette King Guard, turned 88 years old today! She was born December 28, 1922 in Seattle at Providence Hospital.

Friends and close family had a surprise birthday party lunch for her at Downriggers. She has lived on the island all of her life. It was great to see her and all her friends and we got to sit around and listen to some entertaining old memories.

I feel like its kind of a big deal so I thought I’d pass it your way.
