Can you take the reusable challenge?

What would it be like – 21 days without plastic water bottles, plastic grocery bags, or styrofoam containers (which are banned here, anyway)? The earth will be better for it: Olympic medalist Gretchen Bleiler wants you to take the challenge:

  1. That woman littered. How did she know, maybe the guy with the plastic bag was going to take that bag home and cut it up and spin it into yarn to knit his mom a cool hat for mothers day…instead some poor bird is going to choke on it and die… Nice challenge, but as for water bottles, ever notice how many Town of FH employees drink bottled water…think they know something we don’t. Just an observation. Actually, on the island if we made the 21 day challenge a way of life it could make a small dent in our garbage crisis…and a lot of small dents could make a difference. Thanks for sharing think I’ll give it a try…tomorrow…
