port-logoThe Port of Friday Harbor’s insurance company recently concluded their analysis of the Spring Street Landing Building. The Port Commission unanimously voted to approve the Notice to Proceed on the demolition of the building, as soon as possible. The Port’s contractor, MEM Enterprises, is tentatively scheduled to begin demolition on Tuesday, Jan. 21st.

This date is dependent on receiving all the required permits prior to demolition. The project may take up to 3 weeks to complete.
