“Coffee & Conversation” at The Whale Museum

Come to The Whale Museum for “Coffee & Conversation” from 9 am until 10 am on Thursday, August 7. If you haven’t been to the Museum lately, this is a great time to come in. Hosted by executive director Jenny Atkinson, participants will be invited to enjoy light refreshments while getting to know the Museum better.

While the Museum is always free to locals (San Juan County residents) on Thursdays, participants will also receive a free admission pass to the Exhibit Hall and a 10% coupon for our gift shop, good same day. While touring the Exhibit Hall, take a look at our new stair lift and enjoy a self-guided tour with the new Exploration Guide. We want to share our Museum with our community! We hope you will join us for “Coffee & Conversation.”

The Whale Museum is located in Friday Harbor at 62 First St. N. Founded in 1976, The Whale Museum’s mission is to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. In addition to providing exhibits, the Museum also provides programs including the Marine Naturalist Training, Orca Adoption Program, SeaSound Acoustics Program, Soundwatch, San Juan County Marine Mammal Stranding Network, and the Whale Hotline.
