Children’s Festival

Island Rec’s 25th annual Children’s Festival was held on Saturday at the fairgrounds with about 1200 people in attendance.
34 local organizations provided activities for the event, ranging from fishing for a prize, coconut bowling, face painting, puppet shows, and of course Trash to Treasures with Kevin Roth.
25 volunteers manned booths or helped with set-up and tear down.
