Make-A-Wish kid goes whale-watching….

Erin at San Juan Excursions tells me that the Make-A-Foundation has selected them to take Colin (the kid above) out to see the killer whales.
Apparently, he is the 4000th child to receive his wish from the Seattle chapter, and he’ll be on island the 26th of June to take the trip. Congrats to him, and congrats to Erin & Pete for helping make this happen!
Here’s more about the Make-A-Wish folks. -oo-

Thanks Ian for posting this about Colin and his Wish to see the Whales. Everyone is invited to come down to the Spring Street Landing dock on June 26th to participate in sending him off on the Odyssey.
Next week Make A Wish is sending my 5 year old grandson to Disney World along with Momma, Poppa and baby brother. They will stay at Give Kids The World, a resort especially for the thousands of Make A Wish kids hosted by Disney each year. Yes, thousands of young children fight cancer every day, but funding for childhood cancer is a fraction of what is available to other cancer research. Please support Make A Wish and childhood cancer research.
