Beth from the Library says now you have a chance to look at the library’s art:
Art from the permanent collection on display in library
The San Juan Island Library currently is exhibiting a portion of its permanent art collection, donated by various island artists. The name of the exhibit is San Juan Summertime. The art committee is looking for new members to help set up art exhibitions throughout the year. Persons interested in volunteering should call Diane Martindale at 370-5814.
The library will again start exhibits throughout the year. The schedule and themes of each exhibit will be announced in August. Input from artists as to what might shows might be of interest will be considered in planning the schedule.
