My music buddy Dave Calhoun dropped me a note ’cause he’s playing in town this weekend AND he made the movie above about releasing an L pod killer whale from a prison called the Miami Seaquarium (here’s more about THAT)…the scoop at a glance:
Dave at Roche Harbor, singin'....
Hi Ian! Just a quick note to let you know that I’ll be playing at Roche Harbor Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend from 3-6pm each day. I’ll also be doing double duty on Saturday playing at Haley’s from 9pm-midnight. Hope to see you out and about at one of those shows! I also have made a movie about Lolita, the killer whale being held prisoner at the Miami Seaquarium.
As you probably know, she was captured from L pod almost 40 years ago. I’ve used a song from my new CD “She’s Finally Free” as the backdrop and you can view it on my website.
