Librarians get together….

Last weekend San Juan Island Library Director Laura Tretter went to Whistler in British Columbia to visit former San Juan Island Library Director Lauren Stara & do some snowboarding & to hang out in the atmosphere of the Olympics, which they both said was pretty amazing.

I am in the official VanOC volunteer uniform — I am working in the green room at Medals Plaza each night, getting the medalling athletes ready to go up on stage to get their medals!!!
Laura will attest to the massive numbers of volunteers — I call it the Turquoise Tide.
