Love stories…

A couple of weeks before Marcia passed away back in 2007, I had asked my good friend Tom Schultz if he’d write up how he & Marcia had met, for the Valentine stories thing I was doing in the Update. He told me the long version, and said he’d get it to me next year. Little did we know how little time was left… I asked if he’d send me something this year, and it gives me a warm feeling to share this with you.
It was the winter of 1980 in Pullman WA. She was my teacher, I her pupil. Music was our common love, and the reason I was taking her class. When she played her guitar and sang, I knew I had to know more about this amazing woman. Eight months later we married. I was incredibly blessed with 27 wonderful years and the gift of two beautiful daughters. No one could ask for more from life.
