My, it gets crowded sometimes…

Folks coming to see us here on the island...

On Saturday afternoon, I was downtown when the ferry was unloading…tons of visitors got off, and did what we want ’em to do – they spread all over town as they left the boat. Including spreading into the street…kinda holds things up when they’re trying to get the cars off the boat.

Little bit of traffic control & direction would go a long way….

  2. It is amazing that \someone\ has not come up with a solution to getting the ferries unloaded quicker. A simple barrier preventing the walk-ons from crossing in front of off- loading cars and even a barrier at the top of the street preventing cars from driving down along Lot A. It certainly might make the \powers that be\ think about giving us better service since one of their reasons for not being able to add more ferries to our island is because of our slow off-loading!

  3. a little financial support from the town would help. Over the last two years the terminal has lost funding for additional traffic personnel during the peak season. So we do what we can with a skeleton crew.
