What it looked like in the 1870s, and what it looked like yesterday...the officers & their wives kept the garden, to remind them of home.
It was fun to go out to English Camp this weekend – hope you caught the Encampment on Saturday! Josie & I went on Sunday (we were away on Saturday), and wanted to compare the view from the officers’ quarters then & now….that’s me waving at you & holding the garden gate open.
