• Colleen & Bill at San Juan Safaris said it was an honor to be chosen when congressmen came to the island earlier this week…here’s more from Colleen:
San Juan Safaris took Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., chairman of the Appropriations Committee; Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., chairman of the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies and Rep. Lucille Royball-Allard, California –
on a private charter this Monday August 23. They toured the coast line of the west side of San Juan Island. The group was treated to a minke whale sighting along with harbor seals and tons of sea birds. Owner Bill Wright was aboard with his 40 years of eco-tourism.
