Meanwhile, in Alaska…

Over the past year & a half, islanders got used to seeing & hearing Britt Arneson singing around here (here’s her webpage). She returned to Alaska earlier this year…
And…islander James Krall took a teaching job up near Fairbanks for this school year.
So of course they ran into each other when Britt was singing…James tells me, “Pretty funny how the thing happened…I was sitting at the bar surfing the internet and she starts in on this song about a death on Cattle Point Road…and my head whipped around.”
Britt added, “We actually met for the first time, amazingly our paths had never crossed before. That’s why it was such a surprise. Please let folks know I’ll be coming to visit some time this winter, just don’t know when. =) “
