Remembering on Memorial Day on San Juan Island….

Yesterday was Memorial Day on the island, and as the weather cleared throughout the day, we had a nice day with which to enjoy a day off & do things with family & friends & loved ones.
The morning started with the reason for the day downtown, with a parade honoring the veterans who live here & beyond, as well as those who have passed on.
A good-sized crowd participated in the ceremony, and took the time to remember the sacrifices.
