Passing: Sally Eaton
Posted November 16, 2011 at 7:29 am by Ian Byington
Just got a note from Patrica Benton that Sally Eaton passed away yesterday morning in Spokane…everyone who knew her knew her as one of the smilingest & happy people around, and many islanders counted her as a friend.
Patricia tells me that Sally was a big fan of Uncle Otto (Mike Adams, Steve Keys, and James Barkshire) as you can see in the picture, and that Mike Adams has agreed that at 8pm on Friday night when Mike Adams (and Bob Leytze) play as the Duo Tones at the Rumor Mill, they’ll lead everyone in raising a glass to Sally, and playing that night as a tribute to her.
Sally is going to be missed….

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Sally could light up a room with her smile. Truly a loss.
Sally was a dear friend. I missed her this summer when she came out and planned on seeing her soon. I guess soon wasn’t soon enough. I can’t believe she is gone. You are in my heart, Sally.
Sally was kind of a magnet for good things, smiles and a knowing nod. This is terrible news. I’ll miss her, and the thought of her.
