The Kiwanis Club’s Fourth of July Pig War Picnic is coming up, and it’s better than ever. Besides the hit activities of the past such as a cakewalk, pie-eating contest, and amazing barbecue; four island bands will be performing – One More Time Band, Legacy, The Tease, and The Good Husbands.
Look for a reminder during the parade, which will advertise all the wonderful sponsors. If you’re interested in some great advertising for your business and a chance to support a one-of-a-kind community event, contact Nancy Fusare at 317-5825.
See you right after the parade at 11:15am at the Historical Museum on Price Street for this great island tradition!
