National Mentoring Month
Posted January 7, 2014 at 5:30 am by Tim Dustrude
January is National Mentoring month and the SJI Mentoring Program is making a push to find new mentors. We are having a training this Saturday (Jan. 11th) for new mentors (Space is available!) and are recruiting through the Spring.
One hour a week is so little to give, but can truly make a difference in a life of a child! Check out the new slogan (on the accompanying poster). Islanders can visit our Facebook page (San Juan Island Mentoring), or call the Family Resource Center at 378-5246 for more information.
Special updates will follow throughout the month. Let’s make this new year a special one!
You can support the San Juan Update by doing business with our loyal advertisers, and by making a one-time contribution or a recurring donation.
