Trying something new here – Let me know what you think of this.
Living in a small community like ours, we pass familiar faces all the time. And sometimes not so familiar, but for the most part, we know more people than we don’t , it seems. Here’s our question for the day:

Such an interesting question!
This actually was a primary reason I chose to move from the big downtown of Denver many years ago. I would ride the bus with the same people every day to work… ride up on the elevator with the same people… walk 10 blocks on a walking mall area to get to my high rise I worked at… And no one would hardly ever made eye contact or smiled… ever. It broke my heart… that humans could be like that. Seeing those same people daily… and no one ever spoke a simple “Good Morning” or “Hello”.
If I know the person, I greet them!
Sometimes when you are blue, tired,or preoccupied, its good to be reminded there are people around who see you and care about you.
Like Cher said… It’s why we live here!
