The M/V Tacoma, a Jumbo Mark II ferry on the Seattle-Winslow route, lost power today just outside of Eagle Harbor on its way to Bainbridge Island and began drifting toward the beach. The M/V Sealth, which was on the Seattle-Bremerton route, was diverted to assist the Tacoma and with a tow-line, pulled the Tacoma away from the beach until the Lindsey Foss and the Pacific Knight, a couple of large Foss tugs arrived and towed the Tacoma to the dock at Winslow.
