The General Returns August 21

Mike Vouri and folksinger Michael Cohen share their chronicle of the life of Civil War General George E. Pickett at San Juan Community Theatre on Thursday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m.
In The Life & Times of General George E. Pickett, Vouri, Chief of Interpretation at San Juan Island National Historical Park, takes his audience back to the late 1800s and introduces them to Pickett and the variety of events, both historic and tragic, that shaped the general’s life (including Pickett’s experience as commander of the U.S. forces on San Juan Island during the Pig War).
The Business Partner for the production is Roche Harbor Resort. Tickets are $15 for adults; $8 for student reserved, with $5 student RUSH at the door. The SJCT box office is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or buy on-line at www.sjctheatre.org.
