Facebook Basics Workshop
Tuesday, November 18 from 10:00 to 11:30 am
San Juan Island Library meeting room, free. Learn the basics of Facebook with Mark Madsen. We’ll cover setting up an account and privacy settings, making posts and comments on others’ timelines, and uploading photos. Laptop or device required. Register at Library information desk: 378-2798.
Get Started Using Computers
Wednesday, November 19 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm
Skagit Valley College, free. The San Juan Island Library partners with Skagit Valley College to offer four workshops on using PC computers. Four consecutive Wednesdays in November at the College, taught by Library staff. This third session focuses on using Microsoft Windows 7. Next sessions includes Email.

Literary Salon with Laurie Orton
Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 pm
San Juan Island Library, free. Better than a book club, it’s a chance to talk with friends old and new about books and authors, themes and ideas. Join us for refreshments and refreshing talk!
