SVC Open Enrollment for Winter Quarter

Open Enrollment for Winter Quarter is going on now at Skagit Valley College. Classes begin Tuesday, January 6.
For students who want to train for a new career or upgrade their job skills, SVC’s Professional / Technical programs are aligned with local and state economic development strategies. High demand areas include:
- Composites/Aerospace
- Manufacturing Technology
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Environmental Conservation, including SVC’s baccalaureate degree
- Homeland Security
- Tourism and Hospitality
SVC also offers Academic Transfer pathways for students who want to begin their college experience and earn a bachelor’s degree. By completing two years at SVC and then transferring to a four-year university, students can study close to home and save money, compared to tuition at a four-year school. For Fall Quarter, options include:
- Associate in Arts – Direct Transfer Agreement with concentration areas in:
- Art, Music, and Drama
- Computer Science
- Communications, English
- History
- Math
- Psychology
- Social Science
- Elementary Education
- Major Ready Programs
- Biology and Business
- Associate in Science – Transfer
- Track 1: Chemistry, (also for Pre-Med, Pre-Veterinary, Pre-Pharmacy)
- Track 2: Computer Science, Physics, Engineering
- Other Degrees
- Associate in Music – transfers to WWU
- Associate in Visual Arts – transfers to WSU

- PRE-NURSING ATA (RN, non-transfer)
- PRE-NURSING DTA (transfer to BSN)
