Here’s a note from San Juan Community Theatre…

The new year brings with it new ways to participate in your community theatre!

First, on Sunday, January 11 at 4 pm in the Gubelman, auditions will be held for our On Book! Readers Theatre series. This is a chance to get a taste of the actors’ world in a warm and supportive environment, and/or to develop additional skills—a great opportunity with those who have little acting experience and those who have the experience but not the time for a full production. No audition materials will be needed ahead of time; you will simply be asked to read from selected scripts. Then on Saturday and Sunday, January 17-18 at 2 pm at the PARC building (70 Saltspring Drive), director Margaret Hall and musical director Jim Collado will be casting for our spring musical,

9 to 5: The Musical

Perusal scripts and suggested vocal audition material are available at the box office, which is open 11 am to 4 pm on Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. The spring musical will be presented May 15-17, 21-24 and 28-30. For more information, call 378-3211, ext. 33.
