What’s new at the Fairgrounds?

The Rotary Club of San Juan Island had a Children’s Library House put up at the Island Rec playground at the fairgrounds.
According to Barbara Fagan, Literacy Chair for Rotary, the house was designed and constructed by Paul Mayer and installed by Adam Eltinge.
This free library is the perfect place for families to grab a book or donate a book of their own. Families who are interested in making donations to the library house can bring their children’s books to the County Park and fair office located at the entrance to the fair building.
