Letter to the Editor from Darleen Nixon

Dear Editor
My sister has Stage Four breast cancer. She was able to enroll in a health insurance program this past year even with this serious pre-existing condition. We have friends that have chronic diseases that previously made it difficult to obtain health insurance because of their pre-existing health conditions. Both my sister and our friends have now been able to obtain health insurance with their pre-existing health issues thanks to the Affordable Care Act.
All of the candidates now running for President of the United States, except for one, have vowed to repeal the Affordable Care Act if elected, or eliminate it and try to pass a single payer health care program. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate that is supportive of maintaining and improving the Affordable Care Act.
Not only my sister and our friends, but millions of Americans would be immediately affected if their health insurance was no longer available. This is just one of the many reasons I am supporting Hillary Clinton for President. Please be an informed voter and understand the huge impact your vote can make in the lives of many. Thank you.

This is true but Bernie Sanders would like to replace Obama Care with Universal Coverage, what we should have had already. Hillary Clinton has given up on this yet all industrialized countries manage to do it except us. It can be done and we should not roll over for the insurance companies quite yet.
