Flare Shoot and Fire Extinguisher Training

The Friday Harbor Power Squadron has scheduled a Flare Shoot and Fire Extinguisher Training on Saturday, May 21 from 10:00 to 12noon at Jackson Beach as a free public service event open to the community of San Juan because of our dedication to Boating Safety Training.
We will teach participants how to signal for help onboard using flares and how to use fire extinguishers onboard. It’s not like at home!!
Learn from the trained experts of the Friday Harbor Power Squadron and the Friday Harbor Fire Department. Bring your expired flares or use ours. It is a educational way to use up your expired flares.
