The Women’s Fund is a way for women to pool their monies to make a significant impact on San Juan Island.
Women’s Fund organizations nationwide bring women of all ages and experiences together who share an interest in making their communities better places to live now and in the future.
The Women’s Fund was planned to minimize structure and time obligations of members, and is a Pooled Donor Advised Fund held at the San Juan Island Community Foundation.
The first thirteen years were extremely successful, granting more than $175,000 from memberships, matching grants, and donations in honor of friends and family. An annual commitment of $100 or more is required.
We are combining and building our resources to enable us to continue making a positive impact on our Island. 90% of our member contributions go toward bettering the quality of life for those who live here.
For more information, call the Community Foundation office at 378-1001 or visit us online at www.sjiwomensfund.org.
You can support the San Juan Update by doing business with our loyal advertisers, and by making a one-time contribution or a recurring donation.
