Pam Fry enjoys being a detective. She always loved mysteries since she was very young. Her natural curiosity for solving problems and finding their cause and resolution has been a lifetime occupation. It led her into the nursing field 40 years ago and also to a Japanese healing therapy called Jin Shin Jyutsu.

As a nurse she learned how to help people with acute health issues, but early on she knew she wanted to add a hands-on healing therapy to her bedside care. This ultimately led her to this light touch energy balancing treatment in 1981. She has been using it with patients, clients in her private practice and with animals of all kinds.

Whether the person or animal is under stress, or has experienced a crisis of loss, hardship of illness or life circumstance, she can help. Physical pain, post-operative recovery, difficulty sleeping, fatigue and especially mental or emotional stress, can all be helped with her skill and understanding. An important part of her sessions is teaching people how to treat themselves or their animal for continued and accumulative benefits.

Even in perfect health, Jin Shin Jyutsu is useful for health maintenance and prevention. It also feels VERY GOOD! Jin Shin Jyutsu is an excellent therapy for animals because the application of the fingertips gently over points on the body quickly brings benefits one can usually see in the animal as it deeply relaxes and often falls asleep.

The treatment re-establishes the natural flow of vital energy that allows more balance and improved healing as the body knows and was designed to do. JSJ can help any situation along the continuum of life, even the end of life.

Pam has been a High Touch Jin Shin practitioner and instructor on San Juan Island for 35 years. She is committed to helping people and animals live a healthy and happier, more comfortable and vital life.

Pam will be giving an Introduction to High Touch Jin Shin on February 22 & March 22.

  1. Pam helped me with our little 10 year old toy poodle, Charlie, a few years back. For no reason apparent to us, Charlie will all of a sudden jump off our lap or run from the room with his tail between his legs and shaking terribly. He will do this anytime during the day or night say 2-3 times a month. We haven’t found a medical reason for it, but he is so scared. With Jin Shin Jyutsu I am able to grab him and calm him down – the shaking stops and the fear in his eyes go away. I am firm believer! Thanks Pam.

  2. I have been using Jin Shin for the past 5 years with Pam Fry and find it has helped me with serious medical issues that the MDs had given up on. I do the little touch sequences for at least two hours each night as I watch TV, so it does not seem to use up any time. I also have a treatment from Pam each month, and find that gives the greatest benefit. Pam is such a valuable addition to our medical community.

  3. I took Jin Shin classes from Pam 25 years ago and used it on myself, family, friends and pets. Miraculous! I used Jin Shin on my cat when the Vet said she would probably be lame and incontinent the rest of her life after an injury that he said there was no treatment for. One hour of Jin Shin per day and she was completely healed no signs of injury whatsoever in 60 days. Thanks Pam, changed our lives!
