Mrs. Bave Presents the Pig War
Posted October 3, 2017 at 5:42 am by Tim Dustrude
Coming to San Juan Island, One night only! Saturday, October 7th
The almost true story of a play that nearly happened about a war that never occurred, as told by the mannequins who were there!
The intersection of two true stories: the inspirational story of the battle between the United States and Britain over the San Juan Islands and the wacky story of Emelia Bave who, for twenty years, presented a play about the Pig War on San Juan Island using a cast of mannequins, because no one on San Juan Island wanted to be in her play!
