Earthquake Training

San Juan County Department of Emergency Management is hosting a two day training on minimizing and evaluating the damage to buildings from earthquakes.
The training is being held on Wednesday April 25th and Thursday April 26th from 8:30 – 5:00 in Friday Harbor. There is no cost to attend.
Training is intended for facility managers, building officials, engineers, architects, contractors, first responders, or others who have a professional role in building safety, design, or evaluation after an earthquake.
Participants must register in advance to enroll.
