Amy Traxler from the Whale Museum’s Marine Stranding Network asked that we get the word out: HAS ANYBODY SEEN A STRANDED KILLER WHALE CALF? Most researchers around here agree (after looking at photos from the 1910s) that Granny was born in 1911, which puts her at 98 years old this year – and still flying high. The picture above was shot by Jim Maya this weekend….
