That’s the Chelan, the ferry that manages the Anacortes/Sidney run during the summer…looks like they skipped the paint & rust-scrapin’ job this winter with the budget rollbacks….

It was good to run into folks on the ferry Saturday… friends Rose Shaw and Chris (of Christy’s Salon) visited, as you can see. Rose was on the way to Bellingham for a nice birthday weekend with husband Bill, while Chris was explaining how good I would look with hair extensions. šĀ -oo-

Just got a note from the Washington State Ferry folks: The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division has now completed necessary repairs to the 144-auto ferry Elwha. It will return to service on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands route on Thursday, April 9. TheĀ Sealth will return to theĀ inter-island route by relieving the 34-auto Continue Reading

WSF adds back the Sidney/Anacortes run….

After discussing whacking the springtime run of the international boat, Washington State Ferries announced today they will run the route, starting March 29th.
