Are you ready for the weekend?
The Fourth of July on the island is one of my favorite days on the island (besides graduation & the Fair & soccer games & football games & basketball games & Valentine’s Day & Solstice – both of ‘em – and Canada Day.)

Weaving magic all over the island, folks make the island a magical place of togetherness for a day, including Gretchen (after the parade, last year)
You can get an idea of the stuff that’s gonna be happening by going to:
The San Juan Community Events Calendar
Roche Harbor’s website
The Port’s music
The Chamber of Commerce
The Visitors’ Bureau

How great is that? I love the pictures from 2002. The kids sure have grown! Thank you for posting all those pictures.
Trip down memory lane. Thanks.
I came to the parade in 2004 and loved it then. I get to come to the island again this year, and your picture collection makes me glad I’ll be there instead of Bellevue this year. Nice photos. Did you take all of them?
The pictures make it look like we have fun here on the Fourth. Which we do. Fun to see all our frinds and neighbors.
