Please vote yes to renew our current EMS levy.

Currently there is quite an effort by a group of folks who want our EMS to merge with the Fire District. They are writing letters with many falsehoods and posting signs to vote no.

This will simply undermine our stellar EMS service if this levy does not renew.

Please don’t let that happen.

Our Public Hospital District attempted to go through with a merger, and in November, when the Fire District’s levy to do this did not pass, it gave us the opportunity to step back and re-examine the merger.

In my opinion, the Fire District’s unfortunate failure of leadership caused me to rethink this merger and I cannot turn our EMS over to them at this time.
