Dancing the night (and the rain) away.....

It was fun to drop by the Music on the Lawn at the Historical Museum on Wednesday & see all the folks dancing….here’s more from Recreation Director Sally Thomsen at Island Rec:

Hi, Ian!

Despite the dreary weather over 150 people attended Island Rec’s Music on the Lawn free concert last night. The crowded enjoyed the music of the Jim Basnight Band and the enthusiastic dancing of a group of students visiting the island from Centralia College Upward Bound program.

We are expecting a clear, warm evening next Wednesday along with more dancing to the sounds of the 9-piece swing jazz band, Easy Street.

I hope to see you there!

Sally
