HEADS UP for San Juan Island residents!!!
If your spring cleaning includes gathering up your toxic, flammable, corrosive, or reactive chemical wastes for safe disposal, this notice is for YOU.
The date for the the County’s household hazardous waste collection for San Juan Island printed on this month’s San Juan Sanitation Company’s billings is incorrect!
The event will be held on THURSDAY, April 29th from 10 am to 2pm at the solid waste facility. Complete details are available on SJC Public Works website and in display ads in our local newspapers.
We hope you’ll also review the “Hazardous Waste Tips” on the county webpage for ideas on how to prepare for a hazardous waste collection.
