Time to feather your nest!

When I found out about three weeks ago that I had located some folks to rent out my house, the cool part was the chance to downsize…and that was great. Since Josie & I wanted to move to an apartment anyway, that part was easy.
The hard part was getting the place ready for the new family that was going to move in…and it wasn’t just about a few dust bunnies. I had heard of the little business called Feather Your Nest Property Services that Denise McIntosh and Christine Mays had put together (here’s the writeup from a couple of months ago)…so I called them up.
The idea behind the business is to help folks get their places cleaned so they can rent them out as a vacation rental. Even though ours isn’t a vacation rental, they agreed to give it a go, and the result was amazing. My family has lived in the house for 14 years, and needless to say, it needed a little attention. While it was in pretty good shape because we’ve been trying to sell it for the past couple of years, Denise and Andee Paul made that place shine! They have a long background in property management, and they come to the task with both experience & expertise. Their attention to detail was amazing, their expertise about how to clean out every nook & cranny & edge & corner was spot on, and when they were done, the place looked great. And…the whole time they were smiling & great to work with.
I’m really glad I called them, and really happy with the work they did! If you need someone to work with for your place, check out their website and give them a call. You’ll be glad you did!
