The Capital Projects and Technology Levy next month is one of the more important levies we’ve had for a while, which you can get some sense of by checking the campaign’s website. Sarah Crosby and the League of Women Voters are setting up a chance for you to find out more:

On February 14, the San Juan Island School District will ask voters to renew the Capital Projects and Technology Levy for four years.

In anticipation of this election, the League of Women Voters is sponsoring an informational Town Hall meeting in order for voters to have a chance to learn the details of the levy request. Among the speakers are Brent Snow, June Arnold, Rick Thompson, Charles Zalmanek and Glenn Kaufman.

The panelists will make some remarks and then participate in a give and take with the audience.  The meeting will be held at the Mullis Center from 5:30 until 6:30pm on Tuesday, January 24.
