Let’s take a quick peek around & see what’s next:

• Great night to catch our high-flying Wolverines at the gym, with basketball games tonight at 6 & 7:30 (love that late boat!) as Friday Harbor takes on visiting Cedar Park Christian…see you there! The girls scored 11 in OT to win earlier this week & the boys are working hard – they rock!

A sampling of nuts from Tim Dustrude's photo of the day earlier this week - nice balance of color & shadows...photo by Tim.

• I know of three folks who are doing picture-a-day blogs for the year – the deal is, you gotta take a photo a day & post it, till New Year’s Eve 2012. I know people who have done it before, and it’s tough!

The San Juan Islander (Sharon & Matt) are doing it, and so are Val Curtis & Tim Dustrude. Besides the challenge, it’s cool to see such cool photography!

Catching the little moments between people - this is siblings, foot to foot in Val Curtis' photo of the day earlier this week...

• Wondering what the next two months look like, weather-wise? So was NOAA, and they wrote it up.

• Here’s the word from Teri at BeChic Boutique:

With the new year comes our annual inventory!

In order to lighten our load before Sunday, we decided to have a 2 day SALE! We are offering 30% off of everything except jewelry and consignment items.  As a bonus, this will include an extra 30% off the already marked down prices on the sale rack. Friday, Jan. 6th and Saturday, Jan. 7th from 10am to 5:30pm.

Note:  We will be closed Sunday, Jan. 8th for inventory

• I have to read & interact with dozens of people a day…this little flow chart helps keep me sane, or some approximation thereof….
